Columbia Academy Announces Completion of Inclusive Service Training at Columbia Resort
At Columbia Academy, we are proud to announce the successful completion of the “Training for Inclusive Service: Empowering Hospitality at Columbia Resort.”
Under the guidance of our dedicated trainer, Mary Frangou, Columbia Resort’s team participated in a transformative, hands-on learning experience. Columbia Employees-participants used wheelchairs, explored the resort’s accessible rooms and restaurant facilities, gaining first-hand insight into how thoughtful design and attentive service can make every guest feel welcome and respected.
The training emphasized more than practical adjustments — it focused on fostering a mentality of true inclusivity. By challenging social perceptions and addressing common myths around disability in hospitality, we are committed to creating an environment where empathy, respect, and mindful service are at the heart of every guest interaction.
This initiative marks an important step toward shaping a hospitality culture where every guest feels valued, and where diversity is celebrated. We are proud to stand behind Columbia Resort’s dedication to continuous learning and to building experiences that embrace the needs of all.
At Columbia Academy, we remain committed to inspiring this approach across all levels of hospitality — hospitality with heart.
