Innovative Allergens Training Enhances Food Safety Awareness
02 December 2025
Columbia Academy continues to deliver impactful professional development through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. A recent Allergens Training session, led by Trainer Michalis Michael, introduced participants to innovative techniques designed to strengthen food safety awareness.
A standout feature of the session was the use of UV light technology, allowing participants to visually identify cross-contamination risks on their own hands. This practical demonstration transformed theoretical knowledge into a memorable real-world learning experience and reinforced the importance of strict allergen-control procedures in professional kitchen environments.
Participant feedback reflected both the quality of the instruction and the value of the learning experience. Attendees described the seminar as:
“A very interesting and informative lesson.”
“Friendly, polite, and highly professional throughout.”
“A very good and well-organised seminar.”
The post-training evaluation results further highlighted the session’s success. The instructor received top scores for subject knowledge, preparedness, clarity in answering questions, and the ability to encourage participation and teamwork. The training program itself was also rated highly, with participants confirming that the seminar improved their knowledge and skills, provided useful supporting materials, and delivered practical value relevant to their daily work.
Columbia Academy thanks all participants for their active involvement and their continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety.
